Welcome to the Catholic Communities of St. Michael, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Sts. Peter & Paul, at St. Aloyusius
I would like to welcome you to our community. We represent a diverse group of men and women, young and old seeking to live out our faith response to the gift of grace we have received in Christ. We are farmers, ranchers, teachers, nurses, doctors, stay at home mothers, surveyors, oilfield workers, feed producers, bankers, acountants, hospice workers, carpenters, contractors, retired and all of us are seeking the kingdom of God made present in our life daily by the ritual of worship and the corporal and spiritual works of mercy. It is through us, we pray and hope, that the face of Christ is made ever more present in our society for it is through Christ the glory of God is seen. We have been washed by the waters of baptism; we are nourished at the table of the Eucharist, the fruit of Christ's passion, his body and blood strengthening us on the journey; we are cleansed and renewed through the sorrow of contrition, act of penance, and the gift of mercy in the sacrament of reconciliation; we are fortified by the oil of confirmation where we hold fast to our allegiance to the church of Christ, informed by sacred scripture and sacred tradition; we seek healing for mind and body through the laying on of hands in the anointing of the sick; we build up the church by celebrating the gift of married love in holy matrimony; and we trust the providence of God who has called men to be conformed more perfectly to Christ in holy orders. We are the Catholic faithful, and we seek to let God's will be done in and through us so that Christ may be all in all.
